Reminder: School Site Testing Events Forms Due 1/16/09

Advisers....Do you have members competing in one of these events at the Section Leadership Conference?

- Computer Applications
- Database Design & Applications
- Spreadsheet Applications
- Word Processing I
- Word Processing II

If so... then this update is for you.   These events require pre-conference "School Site Testing" and these materials must be requested by Friday January 16.

The document you need to get started is the "Section School Site Data Request Form." This and other important documents are housed on the state website (www.cafbla.org) under the "Competitive Events" category.

The forms says Gold Coast's deadline is January 23 but this is NOT correct.  As Gold Coast's Section Conference is on 2/28, our deadline is now JANUARY 16.

Two other reminders:  Transcripts for Word Processing I are to be sent to Jayne Campbell as outlined on the request.  Also, new for this year, the date to return the tests is a postmark date.

Please follow all the instructions on the Section School Site Date Request Form.
